Learning to eat yourself is an important milestone in development. The Tiny Spoon helps you with this process. Designed for babies / toddlers from 6 months.
From 4 months a baby can bring something to his mouth, from 6 months they can even eat something. The tiny spoon helps to learn this. They can dip and scoop with the spoon. The spoon is small because the tongue must be able to get around it to learn the eating movement. The small balls give a small signal that the spoon is inserted far enough into the mouth and thus stimulate the mouth to close.
The intention is for your baby to hold the spoon and learn how to feed himself. Your child will therefore quickly experience how far the spoon can go in his or her mouth. By feeding as a parent / caretaker, your child will quickly tilt his head too far back (because he does not know what is coming at him). This is not a good attitude to eat. By having them eat themselves quickly, the best position to eat is assumed.
The spoons are packed per two. This way you can easily put one in the hand of your baby and you can optionally "fill" a second one and lay it ready on the edge of the plate.
